Who We Are

We are a diverse group of community organizers, activists and social entrepreneurs looking to expose Collier County’s love affair with 287g and Secure Communities. Many of us have lived in Collier County for many years or were born there and have been privy to the many experiences of growing up Latino in a predominantly homogeneous White community. We have worked on social issues that are both important to us and our community including, but not limited to: education, racial profiling, police abuse, detention, deportation, civic engagement and citizenship.
